In a reading in our hymnal, Kathleen McTigue urges us to “resist the headlong tumble into the next moment” so that we can really notice, receive, and be grateful for life. As we finish up a month of reflections on the theme of resistance, that’s the type of resisting we’ll be doing today–simply being who and where we are together.
