Linda Aldrich reads Emily Dickenson and her own work*
Linda Aldrich received an MFA in Poetry from Vermont College and has published three collections of poetry, Foothold (2008), March and Mad Women (2012), and Ballast (2021). She was awarded a Maine State Poetry Award in 2023 and served as Portland’s Poet Laureate from 2018-2021. Linda hosted the Leaf of Voices poetry reading series at Portland Public Library and co-hosted the monthly Local Buzz reading series in Cape Elizabeth. Most recently, she’s had poems published in the Maine Arts Journal, The O’ Brien Collection: 300 Years of Irish Art, and was a 2024 finalist for the Charles Simic Poetry Award from Hole-in-the-Head Review. She lives in Portland, Maine.
