Helene McGlauflin, MEd., is a poet, writer and retired educator. Her numerous articles, stories and poems have appeared in books, small presses, magazines and professional journals. She is the author of three collections of poetry Tiny Sabbath (2010), Teacher, I Honor You (2016), and Solstice (2024) all published by Finishing Line Press. She is also the author of Calm and Alert: Yoga and Mindfulness Practices to Teach Self-regulation and Social Skills to Children (2018: PESI Publishing), her legacy from a long career as a school counselor and yoga teacher. Helene is a parent and grandparent and lives in MidCoast Maine with her husband Bruce.
